for Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation (J.C.DISI) yearly festival, 10DAYFEST 2015

The enlarged polygon power plug on view is made of paper. This socket type was in use in Hong Kong since the British colonial era. Even after the handover back to China, the standard socket type was not and could not be changed due to complicated engineering process, which indirectly implies the inertia the society is facing in various trivial aspects.
